Tea bowl made with stoneware clay and local granite inclusions, glazed with shino glaze and a splash of wood ash glaze.
The shino came out in a beautiful pale colour, almost white with hints of pink and orange where glaze meets bare clay. This shino has tiny crackles which will develop a lovely tea patina over the time.
 
The bowl was wood fired for 20 hours.
