These beakers are hand-thrown on a momentum wheel and made with wild local clay.  
The clay was dug and processed by students with learning difficulties at Coleg Plas Dwbl and is naturally iron rich, which results in dark colour after the firing.
The beakers have a turned foot and are decorated with hakeme brush and white slip technique inspired by Korean buncheong ware and Japanese kohiki ware.
The beakers are glazed in clear glaze and wood fired.
