"Song of Tea" book
Original collagraph prints from my etching press inspired by the ancient Chinese poem called the 'Song of Tea', also known as the "Seven Bowls of Tea' by the Tang dynasty poet Lu Tung (790-835 AD).
I have hand typed the poem and made a print for each verse. These were then put together into a book with Japanese stab binding technique.
The inks used are Hawthorn Stay Open oil based Extra Dense Black ink and Akua Intaglio Metallic Gold ink for the 'kintsugi' brush detail.
The paper is Khadi cotton rug for the prints and semi-transparent but strong and not easy to tear mulberry bark fibre paper.
The book is made to order, please allow a month for the book to arrive.
A limited edition of 15 books will be produced.

I use strong eco-friendly packing boxes and double box to give extra protection to the ceramics. Items are wrapped in tissue wrapping paper and I use a wood wool filler which is completely biodegradable. On some occasions I may re-use other packaging materials.
Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days and sent via a trackable service, usually taking 3-4 days for delivery. Once items have been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking details.
